Graphics unit 1: 2016

The use of the green and red contrasts each other.The reason I have chosen these two main colours is it symbolise a red rose.The colour red symbolise danger, as Beauty's sister, Juniper does not know that she has an older sister which she is kept in a tower in the woods, with a witch who is guarding the tower as she is keeping Rapunzle prisoner. The Idea of the book cover, is a tower which is hidden. As if I was to draw a tower with trees around it, the book cover would not be poetic, As I thought that a plant, such as a mushroom or a rose is hidden within long grass. I decided tho combine a rose steam which has thorns on it, which would suggests that hit would be a difficult trip for, Juniper in the novella. The use of a mushroom head represents the roof of the tower as the rose steam is representing the tower.
